I am trying to find the information needed on the site but I found this forum so I hope I can get quick help.
Under the free plan:
Do you have subtask as an option? Or just tasks?
What does the basic reporting look like under the free plan?
What are the default field tabs for “My Tasks” under the free plan? I understand customize is not an option but its hard to tell with the FREE trial.
Is the Dashboard offered in the Free Plan? It does not show on the compare plan table.
What if you created a project using a template and your free trial ends. What will happen to this project if the free plan does not offer project templates? I think I selected it from the list provided but created a name for it and added two sections.
Hope anyone can help answer these questions.

I’ll try answer this to the best of my knowledge of the plans. But some who are more familiar with the plans might be able to correct me.
Although not mentioned specifically, I think you can count subtasks as part of the essentials:"
Status updates on project level, and ability to export projects as PDF or CSV:
It becomes available at the Starter plan:
Templates are a blueprint, which on the moment of project creation uses the template. So not having the template available doesn’t influence live projects, just your ability to create new projects from this template, as I don’t think you’ll be able to access the template in the free plan.

Ohh another question. If you are using the free trial advance plan and you apply a rule to a field, what happens to that custom field when you are in the basic plan? Does it remain without an option to edit or does it just be removed?
I think you won’t be able to see it anymore until you upgrade
