ASANA Created Templates in Gallery

Currently , I am during 30 days trial period. and plan to go for Premium

  1. How do I know which Asana Created Templates in Gallery are for Premium Plans , not Business ?

  2. If I accidently use Business Templates, what would happens after Trial if I still decide to stay with Premium Plans

@Jay_Ravit custom templates are introduced at the Premium level. As long as you stay with Premium (or upgrade to Business) you should have access to them all!

Thanks for your reply

I understand that i can use premium features like custom templates

but there are also already created templates in Asana template gallery that comes with business features such as “Approval”. So if I use their template till Trial ends and go for Premium, Will I lose access to template created Projects or they will just disable Business feathers in those templates, thanks

Hi @Jay_Ravit,
I think the tasks will stay in the template project but the Business features wil be disabled – approval tasks will be normal tasks.

Upgrading or downgrading will not result in any data loss whatsoever. You will, however, lose access to all premium features if you downgrade from a paid to an unpaid plan.

I hope this helps!

Thanks

My company has been on a free Asana account for several years, but we’ve never REALLY used it. We’re now giving it a proper attempt.
Can we use any Asana templates on a free account?
Or do we just build everything from scratch?

Welcome, @Dave_Brown3,

Some, but not all Asana project templates are available to free accounts.

Thanks,

Larry

That’s good news, Larry.
I’m trying to spin up a new project, and hope to use a template.
How can I tell what templates are usable for free accounts?

Click the orange + Create button at the top left of any page, then Project, then Use a Template. On the templates page, click the Find Inspiration tab. Click a template you’re interested in. You’ll either see a Use template (available) or Try for free (paid; allows you to start a trial).
