When I filter a project for tasks that should be started today, it doesn’t include tasks that are due today and do not have a start date.
What I’m trying to accomplish is to keep an eye on both what needs to be done and what needs to be started. So I’d like to see both the tasks that should be/have been done (due before today + today) and the tasks that should be/have been started (start today + before today).
The logical option for me would is that Asana assumes the Start date is equal to the Due date when the Start date is left blank.
As it is not possible to finish things you don’t start I think that would be a fair assumption.
Combining this with my previous request would enable this:
A possible partial workaround would be to have a rule set the start date each time you set a due date.
The same problem exists for Group by where Group by Start date should treat no start date as the same date as Due date. Now it creates a group called No Start Date which doesn’t help things!
