Filters are not retained in saved views when duplicating a project

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the bug you’re experiencing:
I’m fairly certain this was not the expected behaviour in the past. I noticed today that when you duplicate a project with saved view tabs, the newly generated project does not retain the same filter settings that were applied to the original project, particularly for custom fields values. The sort settings appear to be fine though, they are carried over to the duplicated project, as expected.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a project with a few tasks and add a single-select custom field with 5 options.
  2. Apply a filter to the custom field to show for example 4 out of the 5 options.
  3. Save the view.
  4. Duplicate the project without any tasks (uncheck ‘All tasks’) and make sure to select all ‘Project tabs’.
  5. Check the resulting project and notice that the filter settings will only include the first value/option of the custom field, not the other options. I have to manually set these again and rebuild all filters for each saved view tab.

Browser version: Edge Version 121.0.2277.128 (Official build) (64-bit)

What version of Asana are you using (Personal, Starter, Advanced, Enterprise, Enterprise+, Premium, Business or legacy Enterprise)? Advanced

This is happening again, @Emily_Roman

Duplicated a project today and the filter was set to “is not empty” in the source project, but shifted to “is empty” in the duplicate project.
