Wondering if there is a way to filter project milestones for a particular period across a number of projects?
For example, is there a way to display on one screen the following information:
Project 1 - milestones for January 2019
Project 2 - milestones for January 2019
Project 3 - milestones for January 2019
Project 4 - milestones for January 2019
(I would like the above information to be combined in one view, as oppose to viewing it on a project-by-project basis).
One way would be first to make a new project called “Milestones - Jan 2019.” Now, in Project 1 multi-select all the milestone tasks and add them (Tab-P) to this new project (this is called “multi-homing”). Repeat for Projects 2-4. If you look in the milestones project now, you should see the list of milestones, each identified with a bubble showing the project it belongs to.
A variation would be instead to create a “Milestones” project and in it a section called “Jan 2019:”. Repeat the rest of the steps as above, but choose the section as part of the multi-homing (it will appear as an option after you designate the project). You’d do it this way if you’d like to later add subsequent months in new sections below, as opposed to a separate project for each month as above.
