Filter My Tasks with Project Status

Right now there is not a way to filter My Tasks to remove tasks that are in a project that is On Hold. There is also not a way to add a column to your view to see what the Project Status is or automate putting those tasks into an “On Hold” section in My Tasks. This clutters the list of tasks that are due when they are not currently “real”. Luckily my team is small right now, but I can’t imagine managing resources and having them use this as the source of truth for tasks due when I can’t even help them filter out projects that are On Hold.

I wonder if adding a tag to those on hold would help with the filter issue (as a work-around). I can see how frustrating that must be. Good luck!

This is about using fields in My Tasks.

However, the challenge of how to identify tasks within a project that are currently on hold remains. Some rule processing might be necessary.

Hi!

There is no available field for a project status, nor is it possible to create one (I tried creating a Reference one, but there is no project status source information available for it).

It should be simple enough to implement, since the project status is already there.

Thank you!
