Feature Request: Set a maximum number of tasks per section in a project

I’m looking for a way to manage workload by setting a maximum number of tasks that can be in each section of a project. It would be great if an Asana project column could be set with a max number of tasks and show a warning or disallow if we try to add too many tasks.

The use case here is that columns often get overloaded with too many tasks, and this would enforce better prioritization.

It would also be helpful to be able to see the count of tasks at the top of the column in board view.

I would love to do this as well. Were you able to find a solution to this? Thanks

I would really appreciate this capability as well. It would solve for a need I have in which clients working in projects with me can only place one request into the ‘in progress’ at a time. Trello offers this type of functionality which is really cool (see attached screenshot).

Please add this soon, Asana!!

Still no answers from anyone at Asana on this? It’s a huge feature in the design community and we’re having to explore alternative solutions like Many Requests as a result.
