Evolution of Notes: Add Comments/Threads

(similar to Google Docs or Slack Canvases functionality) would be great to be able to highlight a section of a note and tag someone in it or leave a comment. We do this a lot for collaboration in GDocs and Slack, but it would be awesome to be able to do this in Asana Notes.

A way to differentiate between just tagging someone in an agenda versus tagging them for notification would be great. Like adding a “People” tag option similar to the list view field, but also being able to @ someone and notify them of a mention.

Hello! We realized we are having a hard time fully adopting Asana because of our team is spread across so many different tools. We take notes in notion because the Asana note section is clunky and not very functional (though i love the new Create Task feature). Have you thought about adding a toggle function to hide and expand note sections or a comment feature so you can communicate about a note in the note section directly?

Hi @Olivia_Palma , I’ve slightly modified your title so it is not to be confused with project sections.
I would however suggest to keep each of your feedback in separate threads or add it to existing feedback threads that already likely exist in the forum, like the ones I found below.

Let me know which of the below you would like me to merge your feedback into:

Hello!

Oh this is great, thank you. We could add it to the second please. Perhaps having a more functional notes tab would help the feature be used more! Right now it is just not very useful on its own sadly.

Has there been any movement on the ability to add comments or threads to Notes on projects? Would LOVE to get our teams out of Gdocs for strategy notes and key info, but we frequently use comments and need that functionality to make the switch.
