I have a use case where it would be useful to have the ability to have multiple multiselect fields in the sorting stack but am unable to select both custom fields as they are both required to be first in the stack.
It would be quite useful to enable the ability to have multiple multiselect fields in the sorting stack and enable the user to decide where in the stack they are placed.
Edit to add more context:
In the below screenshot you can see that I have a multiselect field “Programme” (MBA, MFIN, etc) set as the first sorting criteria, but am unable to add a second multiselect field (in this case “Module code (v2) test”, i.e MBA5, MBA13, etc) as they are both required to be first in the stack.
Doing this would make the list I’m creating much easier to navigate because the “module code” field will end up having hundreds of entries, whereas the “Programme” field has less than 20.
Using the “Programme” field as the sorting criteria gives me the sectioning I want but it then splits all the “Module code” field entries into seemingly a random order. Id like to be able to sort that list too so that all the entries that share the same Programme are collated together, then they are collated by shared module code.
Note: In the screenshot you will see a text field also called “Module Code”, whilst this does allow me to do the sorting I want, it doesnt allow me to run reporting in the dashboard, so unfortunately isnt working in all the aspects i want it to.
