Dynamically populate custom field values from task due date?

We have a custom field to list issue dates for newsletters. We use this for a submission form so users can select which issue to promote their items. We also have tasks set up for each issue, with the due date set to the publication date, so we can pull these into a calendar showing planned emails. Occasionally, these dates shift (as you can tell by the October issue in the screenshots).

Is it possible for the custom field values to be populated—and dynamically updated—based on the task due dates? This would save us a little bit of effort during planning and when dates shift, as we would not need to update both dates.

Hi @Brian_Fewell , this could be achieved natively in Asana by using script actions (exclusive to Enterprise tiers and requires coding knowledge) otherwise an automation could be created using 3rd party integrators such as zapier.com or make.com.

Or most likely with a FlowAgent. Doesn’t require Asana Enterprise or coding knowledge.
