I created tasks and then decided these should be subtasks so I converted them, however now it is showing as a duplication as a subtask and a task. Can someone help me fix this please?

What steps are you taking to convert the task to subtask?
It might be you have to remove the subtask from the project so that it nests under the task only.

You’re seeing the subtasks as tasks because they are still assigned to the project. If you open the detail pane, you can remove them from the project and they will then only show as subtasks.
