Why is it that a duplicate of a recurring subtask do not appear automatically under the parent task or even on the section or project board? For example, when I completed a subtask which recurs daily, the duplicated subtask for tomorrow does not appear as subtask and it has no parent task nor section nor project. I had to manually set the parent task of the completed subtask just so it will appear in the project board.

A subtask is generally not part of any project hence why it would not show under the project unless you add it.
Now in regards to recurring subtasks. If you mark a recurring subtask as complete then the new one should be created as subtask within the parent task.
That was not the case for you? Was it created as a standalone task?
