Duplicate 'Otherwise if' (branches) and 'Do this' (actions) in Custom Rules

It would be great to be able to duplicate the Otherwise ifs (branches) along with all their Check ifs (conditions) and especially the Do this (actions) of rules when they may contain multiple cards.

Note this is to add the ability to duplicate grouped ‘components’ of a custom rule, not duplicate the entire rule.

This would be great! As part of this feature could you still copy portions of rule logic or ‘duplicate’ logic branches within the rule?

That would be extremely helpful too!

I’d love to add my vote to this, especially duplicating rule logic. I have a rule that checks for “Project type = Event” and “Market=Region A”, then creates 40+ subtasks assigned to the people in that region. Then I have to repeat for every single market and the only change is who’s assigned - I feel like there has to be a better way.

Hi @Thomas_Barton , @Nikki_Gilland , I’ve moved your post into this new thread I started so you can add your votes here. (Purple button at the top of the thread)

Thanks!

This would save me so much time. I have a number of rules where the approval subtasks needed vary only slightly , depending on the combinations of responses in two or more fields. The approval subtasks have interdependencies, so I can’t use individual rules to add each of them. It’s frustrating having to create most of those subtasks manually, with all of their settings and descriptions, over and over again, and would be far more efficient to simply copy the full set into a new branch and then remove the ones that aren’t applicable.
