Due Date Approaching Rule Doesn't Seem to Work

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
I have a rule set up in My Tasks for when a due date is approaching by 1 week to move the task to a board section called Active. I would expect that when a task due date is equal to or less than 1 week the rule would run at midnight or soon after and move the task. It has yet to run at all after nearly a week and numerous tasks falling into that category.

Steps to reproduce:
Create a custom rule that triggers on due date approaching with action to move to a section.

Browser version:
Microsoft Edge Version 114.0.1823.51 (Official build) (64-bit)

What version of Asana are you using (Basic/Premium/Business/Enterprise)?
Business Trial

Asana does not match on the “or less than” part of your statement. If you specify “in one week”, it only fires if a task is exactly one week out at midnight when the rule is evaluated.

(If you want the “1 week or less” behavior, you can use our Flowsana integration - our date rules do implement the “or less than” part of the behavior you’re looking for  ).

Thanks! I will check out Flowsana.

FYI I moved this to the Tips and Tricks forum section as it’s expected Asana behavior and not a bug.
