I don’t seem to be able to drag and drop (task, projects, etc) while using a tablet pen (wacom intuos pro).
Steps to reproduce:
System: Window 10
Browser: Mozilla Firefox
Input device: Wacom intuos Pro (Tablet/Pen)
With the above system, click with the pan on dragable subject, such as a task, hold and fail to drag.
I would I appreciate the help, as I use a tablet as my input device instead of a mouse.
Hi @Karina_Fotografie, welcome to the Community Forum and thanks for reaching out!
Although our web app can be accessible via tables, it is not optimized for a touch screen experience and we cannot guarantee every single feature and functionality will work properly on this device via web browser.
The official ways to access Asana are as follows:
- On a computer’s web browser: Chrome, Firefox or Safari
- Using our official apps found on Android or iOS devices
At this time, we do not have any immediate plans to develop an app specific for Wacom intuos devices.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have follow up questions.
Hi @Emily_Roman,
thank you for the reply. There was a misundertanding, I’m not using a tablet, but a computer (windows 10 with Firefox), but instead of a mouse I’m using a designer tablet. See image below.

I’m using it for accesaability as I have a condition that doesn’t always allow me to use a mouse, as it causes me pain.

Thanks for following up @Karina_Fotografie, I see what you mean. The drag and drop feature is currently not available for the device you are using. Apologies for the inconvenience this can cause you. I have gone ahead and sent this request to our product team so it’s take into consideration for future updates.
Thanks again for sharing.

That would be a really useful feature. I’m in a similar situation and would love to be able to drag and drop with a pen.
