Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
Steps to reproduce: Drag a task from a project into another project.
Browser version: Firefox 111.0b7 and Chrome 114.0.5735.134
What version of Asana are you using (Basic/Premium/Business/Enterprise)? Basic
Hi @Chris_K , I beleive this is expected behaviour with the redesigned sidebar. But you should be able to drag tasks into projects in the Starred section.
Thanks Richard, that’s helpful. I’ll probably just be favoriting all the projects. It’s unfortunate that it only lets you drop tasks above or below a project instead of highlighting the project, but at least it works now.
Also, just FYI, if you drop a task in another project and click “Undo”, it doesn’t put the task back where it was, it just sets the project to nothing (Essentially losing track of the task) as indicated in the animated pic below.
Hi @Chris_K , thank you for raising this issue. I will move this topic back to the bugs section so that @Vanessa_N can have a look a this:
Regarding the blue hairline when dragging a task into a starred project, I agree this is not ideal and that’s why I raised it here. You will see in that thread that @Vanessa_Nconfirmed that this is expected behavior. Hopefully it will get fixed soon!
