I have a rule for an employee on Asana to send notifications to a specific Slack channel when a task gets moved to a “review” section of the board. It works! But - we are noticing that it keeps sending the notification twice - any help to just have it send the one time when it gets moved. Attaching a screenshot with some removed info for client privacy. Any advice to stop the double notifs?
Hi Nancy, I would check that there is only one rule published for this action. In doubting that I built it correctly (or just forgetting that I already set it up) I have made duplicate rules. When I had two rules set for the same thing, the action happened twice. Hopefully thats whats going on. You’re just too efficient!
If there is only one rule, then I would delete and re-create it. Good luck!
Hey! Thank you for getting back to me! The rule is only added once and I’ve removed it / tried to adjust it a couple of times but not getting anywhere with the duplicate notifs
