Does Viewer Only License consumes Seats on the paid plan?

Hi I wanted to know if Viewer Only License consumes Seats on the paid plan. I wanted to add a someone with the same domain to the organization but don’t want to consume a seat. Does this work?
Also, in the screenshot provided in the article, there’s a way to add a user with a viewer license through the admin console. When i check on my end, it does not have the option to add viewer license. The plan we have is Enterprise+
Does inviting someone or granting permission to someone as viewer the same as providing the viewer license? Will it not add the user a paid member and consume one seat?
I hope someone could help me answer my questions. Thanks

No, view only licenses don’t use up a seat; they’re free.

The feature is only for Enterprise and Enterprise +, and not for Divisions (only Organization plans). Any chance your plan is Enterprise + Division? That would explain it.

I’m afraid it’s hard to address issues like this (for me) in a forum without either hands on or account info that Asana Support would have. If no one else helps you here, I recommend creating another support ticket. They’ve been backed up but are reducing the queue and you should hear back in time.
