Did MyTasks date promotion rules fail for anyone else today?

Our team uses the auto-promotion rules suggested by @lpb in our My Tasks, so that around midnight every day Asana will automatically move any tasks due that day to a section called “Today” . This morning we found several tasks with due date Today which had not auto-promoted out of other sections. Anyone else have this issue? Do we blame daylight savings time?

I didn’t notice any problems with task promotion rules, but I think I might have seen another post like yours.

Did anyone else have their “due date approaching” rules not run this morning? I have multiple rules (across many projects) that use the “due date approaching” and “start date approaching” and they did not fire.

Update: the “Today” promotion rule seems to have worked for my organization’s MyTasks last night. We are not seeing any other promotion rule failures today, but we don’t have many of them outside of MyTasks.

  1. Rule ID of the failed rule.
  2. Tasks that the rule should have run on.
  3. Start/Due Date Change: Has the start/due date of the task been changed since the Daylight Saving Time (DST) change?
  4. Rule Execution: Has this rule run successfully since the DST change?
  5. Content Review Permission: Do you agree for us to review your content to help investigate the issue?

  1. Rule ID that failed: ID: 1208741504513848

  3. No change on the due date since DST.
  4. Not yet - it will run again tomorrow so I can follow up.
  5. Not a problem!

I have another example to look at too

  1. Rule ID: 1209078794976224
  2. Task that the rule failed to run: https://app.asana.com/1/1108705945381771/project/1208495311188744/task/1209437431885432
  3. No changes

For what it’s worth, I did have a date based rule run today (ID: 1208495311189922) so perhaps it was just a problem on the morning of March 11th.

Confirming that the rules ran last night. I think it was an isolated incident on March 11th
