It would be useful if when a task is tied to another task as a dependency that it moves dynamically. That way it is only one click to move one task or to extend the time of a task and it auto updates all the tasks behind it.

Asana does have an auto-shifting capability where it will adjust dependent tasks; you can read about it here:
Itβs somewhat limited in scope, in that it only works in Timeline view and only when the dependent task conflicts with (overlaps) its precedent task.
