Default sort to "none"

It seems that every time I reload the “My Tasks” page, it default sorts to “Due Date”. How do I default sort to “none” so I can use the priority view (today, upcoming, later)?

Go to the gear in the top right corner and select “Save View for Everyone.”

So simple. So helpful.

It looks like the “save” option has been removed. It still defaults to “none” when I want it to default to “due date”.

Any update for 2019?

I do not see this either, and have looked in display settings. Not there either. Would like to have this feature back.

It would be great if I could change default sort to “Due date”
Now every time I open the task list, I have to switch it manually.

Hi @Katrina_Krigere, welcome to the Forum! In fact, you can also save the “Sorting by Due date” as the default view:

Click on the drop-down arrow next to the title of the Project> Click on the option that says “Save layout as default”.

This way, you won’t have to change the view every time you access the Project. I hope this helps!

It seems like these settings are no longer available for the My Tasks page. Is there a way to default My Tasks to no sort?

That’s true, @Chris_Penny, but for My Tasks the last setting value you chose should automatically be remembered as the default so you no longer need the explicit option to set the default.

Hope that helps,

Larry

I see now, thanks!
