With all the new features rolled out for custom default views, I think it’d be great if an option to export just the tasks under those custom views instead of exporting everything in the project.

Until/if your request becomes available, please consider Asana2Go (disclaimer: I’m the creator) which lets you select tasks for CSV export and many other outputs:
