Creating automatic reminders for my team when tasks are due

Hi

I have created a rule which says When due date is approaching -7 days away- add comment to task ‘Task is due in 7 days’ I have also created one which says the same but ends ‘Set Comment to… Task is due in 7 days. The rules run but I cant see any comments being written. I want to use the rule as a reminder to task owners that their actions are due. What am I doing wrong? Is there an easier way?

Thank you @Charlotte_Graham - It appears that you are using a text field as “comments” - The action you are looking for is “add comment” under the “add to task” category.
