I feel like this is a silly question but I have been unable to locate the answer.
I have a project tracking different partner accounts. I have a text custom field where I track email addresses for each account. Is there a way I can highlight and copy ONLY the email addresses from the custom fields from each task/partner (similarly how you would highlight and copy a specific column in a spreadsheet)?

The only way to copy a text field in Asana is to click into the field, highlight it, and then copy and paste. Using all keyboard shortcuts (ctrl+a > ctrl+c > ctrl+v) it doesn’t take much longer than it would in excel.

Hi @Christine_Bolton, thank you for your response. Just to clarify, there is no way to copy a specific custom field from multiple tasks at once? We have hundreds of email addresses within the project in different tasks, all in our “Partner Email Address” custom field. Clicking in each field to copy and paste individual email addresses would be a huge waste of time.
No you can’t mass copy a field.
Are these tasks that can possibly be created by an import?
These, meaning the new tasks you are creating that need this information added to them?
Not an ideal solution for sure, but you could export the project data to a spreadsheet and copy the addresses from there.
