Sometimes subtask becomes more than a subtask, and we need to convert it to a separate task. Right now I can drag and drop to another project, and from there move back to the original project. It would be nice to have a button/shortcut saying “Convert to a task”.

While there is currently no button to convert a subtask to a task, hopefully this is something our Product team can implement in the future.
In the meantime, you can drag the subtask into the List view to convert it to a task

You can also drag directly into the main project (but not into a section otherwise the subtask will also stay a subtask)
