Completed tasks don't disappear, new tasks don't show up

I have to say, I find the behavior of the Asana web UI mystifying.

I am looking at a filtered search that shows all Not Completed tasks assigned to me.

Fine.

I check Completed on one of them… it just sits there, doesn’t disappear.

I create a new task, assigned to me. It doesn’t show up.

How am I supposed to use Asana? (there is no way I am the first to experience this?)

I sense that you are still new using asana and there are some frustrations coming with using a new system.

Why don’t you share screen shots and we can try to assist. You do not have to be the first to experience something. It could be just understanding how to navigate and work with the syatem and its features.
