I have been using Asana for several months now and this has to be the MOST annoying thing about it. Seeing that this was a “fix” requested in 2020 and then in Feb 2021 seeing comments that “we promise we’ll get it done faster than the 2+ years we’re all used to here though”! WELL, it’s July 2025 and I am still doing this manually without a COLLAPSE ALL feature. What is the update on this?!

Welcome to the forum, @Jennifer_Kraft. If you look a few posts up, there’s an update from Asana in May that the feature is being actively developed. There’s no timetable for launch, but they typically don’t make concrete announcements like that (e.g., they never committed to development earlier in the thread) unless a release is coming imminently (like the next quarter or two).

When I am in a project and I search for something, I need to uncollapse all projects to find it. So annoying! Glad to hear they are working on developing this feature.
