What about for the mobile app? How can we adjust what is shown and what isn’t shown? I want to show custom fields but it only shows the custom drop down fields.

On Android, it’s possible to select fields in List view but not Board view.

Do I have to make a request and get people to upvote it for it to be added? It’s seems like a pretty simple thing that should aready be on there.

Might seem easy for you to implement, however, we don’t know if it is on Asana’s roadmap or not.

I’m facing the same issue now but the solutions offered here also don’t work for me. I don’t see the Hide button in the menu next to “+ Add task” either. The tags don’t even show in the Board view
Is there any other workaround?
Also if it helps: my Asana is stuck in an older plan that doesn’t exist anymore (Professional).

Can you screenshot a project view? The Hide button might have a different name in your instance.

The Filter, Sort, Group by and Hide buttons will only appear once a task is added to a project.
Similarly, this also happens in List view.
Could it be that your project is currently blank, without any tasks?

Actually what I noticed now is that I do see all properties in my dashboard itself, but I’m unable to add those properties to the view on “My tasks”. When you go to customize you can toggle properties on and off, but the ones I’ve created for my self can’t be added in there.

Yes the My Tasks layout and functionality is slightly different, lagging behind what we now have in projects.
Do you mean custom fields? You can add them to your My tasks, using the +Add field in the customize menu, under Fields section. Remember to search for fields that are in your library so that it brings in the values that are already in your projects!

I now figured out I had to share the custom fields with the organization for them to appear in that library! Thank you so much this solved my issue!
