Changing the colour of tasks

Hello,

My company has been using Asana for several years and we have always used tags as a way of organising our work by colour. We associate projects with tasks and subtasks, and in the end each employee associates their own tag with a colour defined in advance so that they have a ‘coloured’ view of their work and understand what they have to do.

Now something has changed. All tasks in Asana take on the colour of the project associated with the main task instead of the colour of the tag. What can I do to get the tag colours back in my calendar?

Welcome to the forum, @Diana_Santos1! I believe this is related to recent testing that more directly associates subtasks with the projects of their parents. Without knowing your exact setup, it’s a bit difficult to advise, but would replacing your tagging system with a single-select custom field be viable? You can color items on your calendar by that field (does not support doing that for tags, I think it maybe used to default to tag color before the update?).
