💡 Change your preferred email address

When you have several addresses linked to the same Asana account, you very often run into situations where coworkers complain they see your personal email for example when searching for yourself. And if your private email address is elsafromfrozenrocks@gmail.com, it might be problematic :slightly_smiling_face:

Asana quietly introduced the ability to change your preferred email address, in your profile settings > Notifications > Preferred email. I used it right away, my address was a very old one I created a while back to setup my first company org.

I cannot change my email in Notifications. Though I have 3 emails in my Asana account, only 1 email shows in that drop down menu. It’s’ impossible for me to select any other email.

When I go into Email addresses it will not allow me to delete this email until I remove it from Notifications. So I am stuck in a loop.

How can I make my current email the Preferred Email?

I was stuck recently and reached out to support to help me.
