When you have several addresses linked to the same Asana account, you very often run into situations where coworkers complain they see your personal email for example when searching for yourself. And if your private email address is email@example.com, it might be problematic
Asana quietly introduced the ability to change your preferred email address, in your profile settings > Notifications > Preferred email. I used it right away, my address was a very old one I created a while back to setup my first company org.
