We would like to be able to label the “Due Date” column (that has start and end dates) something like “Job Length” or just create a custom field with a start and end date. Can this be added or does anyone have a workaround?

Our org is forcing us to move from Monday.com to Asana (as Asana was approved via. our IT Security first)….
When transitioning over, i’ve noticed some very odd funcitonalities that are locked in and can’t be changed. One is the Due Date field.
As with other comments, above, Due Date is an bizarre name, when in reality is it a date range field - from my understanding of how Databases work, renaming a field should be a relatively straight forward task, yet Asana seem hell bend on maintaining the platform to how they envisaged it working, rather than responding to Customer’s needs.
If you can’t rename the Due Date field, then please add a column that displays the Start Date separately, this way you can have the both options. The field will be stored in the Database somewhere. All that should be required to to allow the column to be “turned on”

Pleeeease make this doable! It would be so helpful in list view to identify what the “due date” actually means on a project-by-project basis.

This feature has been requested for over 5 years. i need to echo that this would be great. a “due date” really is a misnomer if you are trying to work on a date range.
