Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
Attempt to upload Bitmoji PNG (or converted JPG) as profile picture causes UI to report “Unable to pick photo” and hangs on “Processing Attachment”
Steps to reproduce:
(should be noted: no problems uploading photo as profile photo here in Asana forum)
Browser version:
Chrome 80.0.3987.99
Android 7.1.1

I was trying to reproduce this and I was able to upload a Bitmoji converted to JPG as profile picture. Could you please confirm that the size of the PNG or JPG you are trying to upload is less than 5MB?

im attaching the image exported from Bitmoji
it looks like its 70k (tiny!)
hey i found a workaround: open Asana in my mobile browser in “Desktop site” and add the photo.
its just broken in the app & likely device specific (j7, Android 7.1.1)
I have this issue in the app as well. It does not seem to be affected by the size or file type of the image. I have tried png and jpg images, well under the 5mb limit.
Try to once through web
When I click “upload photo” in the web browser, nothing happens (no box pops up). Is there a workaround or any tips to get the box to appear? I’m using Chrome
Does anybody have a solution? I tried different sizes and file formats on Chrome. Still seeing the message that my picture is not in the specification.
Here I can upload it perfectly as you can see.

Are you trying to upload your profile photo from the desktop app, browser or mobile app?
I would suggest try from a browser and then try these troubleshooting steps, (particularly try the incognito/private tab) and if you still have an issue, then please create a support ticket, by following the instructions here: How to contact our Support Team 
I’m having the same issue.
Went through troubleshooting.
Cannot upload via desktop app, or Chrome (not in normal profile, Guest profile, or Incognito).
Image is standard .jpg and 64kb.
