Can't add multiple task to project if at least one of them is already in that project

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
When adding multiple task to a project, select multiple task with some task in the target project and some not, click add project icon on the multi-select taskbar which appears, click the Add to project link, target project does not appear even when filtered to the exact project name.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create Project A
  2. Create 3 task in Project A
  3. Create Project B
  4. Add 1 task in Project A to Project B
  5. Multi select all 3 task in Project A
  6. Click the add project icon on the multi-select taskbar which appears
  7. Click Add to Project link
Project B is nowhere to be seen. Just a couple of weeks ago, I could add the remainder task to Project B.

Browser version:
Chrome 112.0.5615.137

What version of Asana are you using (Basic/Premium/Business/Enterprise)?

I’m having this issue as well, just noticed this starting the end of last week, around 4/28-27/23. Exact same workflow, previously I was able to batch select tasks that may have been added to a variety of projects and when trying to add the tasks to a specific project that some were already a part of, I was able to do so. Now, if one task in the batch is added to the target project, that project will not show up in the search when trying to add the remaining tasks.

Hi @Noel and @anon80824313, welcome to our Community, and sorry for the trouble. I wasn’t able to replicate this issue on my end. Can you confirm if this persists in an incognito window? Also, are your colleagues running into the same problem?
