For context here, our team uses 2 different projects for two different teams. However, certain actions from team 1 need to trigger a separate action from team 2, so I’d like to be able to automate a notification that will do that. For example, if a specific task is marked complete on project 1, it should trigger a comment tagging a certain team member on project 2. Is this possible?

Generally, rules operate on the same task that triggers them.
So if that’s the case (which must mean the task is multi-homed in both projects), then your answer is yes.
If not, then native Asana rules wouldn’t handle that.

Thank you, @lpb - I used to work in Trello with automations that were linked between many boards in many different ways, so this is a very different environment. I’d love to see this changed to be more like Trello in that respect. Thanks!
