Boards are a great visual tool. But the embedded images for various tasks create a distraction. Today I can turn off image by clicking on each task, but that’s tedious. I’d like to see an option to turn OFF images by default in all tasks in Board view.

Obviously Asana does not care. This should be a simple fix. If it is not a simple fix, explain why. 4 years later and lots of complaints. Come on, Asana.

When you use the board view in Asana, you have the tasks visible. However when there are e.g. pictures in the decription of a task it is also shown in the board view. How can I disable this? Thanks

If you right click on the image select “Choose card image” → then “Hide card image” [Screenshot 2025-06-20 090947] That should get rid of it for you. The image will still be visible though when you click on the task to view it. Hope that helps

It works for an individual task, but you need to do that task by task. That is not doable based on the number of tasks.

Thats correct an option to just hide all images from within board view would be a nice option to have :smiling_face_with_tear:

Would be indeed a nice to have that option. But it is not the first time that Asana implements something properly.

Yes please! Asana’s competitors such as Trello and ClickUp already offer this feature.
