Best way to keep a "repeat" maintenance tasks once a project is completed?

Hi there!

We are a marketing team within a brand and we have a project with a start and end date which is great because it can be brought into Portfolios to see it’s completion. However we have a requirement of one specific “weekly marketing reporting” task to be ongoing each week. At the moment it’s added within the project and it makes it seem like our project is always at 98% complete. I’d like to have the main project completed and archived but have the one responsibility be ongoing. How do you best structure these ongoing things within asana?

Hi

Have a project for them all and in the task name you mention the origin project + make a mention to the project in the task description?

Thanks Bastien

So what your suggesting is that I take the ‘reporting maintenance’ task, create a new project and put just that task in it, then reference the original project?
