automation is not updating

Hello,

I recently experienced the automation in “my tasks” fail to work after I change the due date.

A super simple example, I saw have an overdue task in the overdue section, after I change the due date, I will be stuck in the overdue section, and will not move to the Do today section with the rules I set up. My automation is set as ( due day is approaching (task is due today) → move task to a certain section (Do today). )

It happens to all the sections in my task, the automation seems to only work when a new task is added to my tasks, not every time a task is updates.

I’m not sure if I have the automation setup wrong or it is a known problem. Please let me know if there is a solution to this.

Date-based rules that don’t include times-of-day are only evaluated once per day, between midnight and 1:00 am your time; they aren’t evaluated immediately. That’s the reason you aren’t seeing the tasks move.
