Automated backups (CSV)

Hi all. I’m looking for an automated way to regularly export Asana backups for some of my projects. Probably the easiest way is by programming a batch script (I’m using Windows) to export the CSV for a given list of projects. Has anyone been capable to implement a solution for this?

Hi. Did you consider a tool like http://probackup.io ?

Hi @Javier_Montoto

You can use FluentPro Backup to automatically back up and restore all Asana data. With FluentPro Backup you can back up everything or select specific projects, tasks, users, and workspaces. It allows you to set up continuous backups on schedule to ensure that all changes are saved. You can restore Asana deleted tasks or projects using point-in-time versions if you lose any data. This will help you recover data quickly and seamlessly.

Thanks for the shout out @Bastien_Siebman

Pro Backup might be exactly what you are looking for. It’s the most complete backup & restore solution for Asana that offers a great user experience and handy features (e.g. sync to google drive, smart alerts, option to invite team members, etc.). Here’s a product tour video and here’s a video that showcases the restore capabilities for Asana.

Not only does it beat Fluentpro based on features, but the plans are also a lot cheaper. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions
