Asana slack bot ignores notification setting

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing: No matter what setting I choose for “Notifications about tasks” in the Asana direct chat in my Slack, it keeps creating Slack messages to notify me about everything that happens to my tasks in Asana.
I’d like to turn off these notifications.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to “Asana” channel in Slack
  2. Type /asana settings
  3. Change the Notifications about tasks setting until you get the message You won't get notifications about tasks.
  4. Create a task in Asana
  5. Slack notification window pops up within a few minutes saying what happened in Asana

Browser version: Firefox 75.0 64-bit

Sincere apologies for the trouble here. From the information you have shared I can see you have turned your personal notifications off but you are still receiving notifications for projects you have linked in Slack. To turn project notifications off you just to use /asana link and choose the option to turn notifications off.
