(Personal) “Search this view” section expansion: When “Search this view” is used in List view, collapsed sections will automatically expand, revealing matching results that previously would have been hidden in collapsed sections.

Update in April 2026: #2 of the two parts that make up this request has been implemented by Asana: Typing “test1” in Search view results in this display: [image] which is confusing because it actually found, but does not show, a test1 task. It’s in the collapsed QA/QC section: [image] Instead of the above, I’m requesting: Don’t show all those <Section name> + Add task groupings since they don’t match the search, and Expand the section where a result was found so I can see it.
