normally asana send email of everything what is happening, like new task, comment, daily news and so on.
we also know how to manage these negotiations and have checked that.

we double checked the person’s notification settings in general and on project level.
the settings are exactly the same like persons in the same team, who gets all project and “new task”, comments or marketing asana messages.
for this person (who did not get all messages) all is checked to get really every message, but no message on project level (task, comment) are coming in .
but there are messages coming in about some news (e.g. today there is a message from firstname.lastname@example.org “What’s the secret to great teamwork?”), so in general, that email is working to get notifications from Asana and BTW, Spam protection for that email account is off, so no email-account-filter should stop any asana email.
