Asana for Outlook add-in not adding attachments to tasks

Hello,

on 4th of July 2024 users in our organization reported to us that the Asana for Outlook add-in stopped adding attachments to created tasks despite the attachment being selected (see screen).

When viewed in Asana, the attachment is not present in the created task.


When I try to add the attachment manually, it works.


Is anybody else experiencing this issue? Is there something we can do about it? Users reported it a while ago, removing and adding the add-in didn’t help. I installed it for the first time on my account and it also doesn’t work (Edge version 126.0.2592.102 (currently newest)). Same result in Chrome.

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay and for the trouble. It looks like this is a bug, and it has already been escalated to our Developers for investigation. I’ll post updates here once they become available.

Hi @Naomi_Watson1, sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. This thread is quite old, but I’m moving your comment to a more recent thread where we are discussing this issue. It’s a bug that is currently under investigation. We will post updates as soon as we have them.
