Hi All,

I must be missing something (sorry). But I’m finding it hard to manage fields. Questions I have:

1. How do I view fields in my organisation
2. How do I see which projects are using the fields
3. How do I delete fields no longer in use
4. How do I stop people creating org level fields, i.e. what permission level is it.

Welcome to the forum!

1. the custom field library - when you go into create a field and you see the library tab - this is having a makeover soon
2. You can search by fields but it will give you the tasks with those values, currently there is no way of seeing which projects are using which fields (unless you have bundles)
3. In the custom field library you can add it to a project, click edit then delete.
4. I don’t believe this is possible - we recommend setting conventions when onboarding your team.

2. That’s a bit rubbish
3. How do I delete from the org, though?
4. “setting conventions”? How does that work for very large teams…

1. For now, the custom field library relaunch should be coming soon
2. Agreed
3. that is how, you click delete rather than remove and it deletes the whole field completely
4. Formalised training plans, conventions documents, formal onboarding etc
