Asana Desktop App not working.

It is freezing up and not letting me make any selection. I can see cursor blinking. Web app is working fine. Tried removing and reinstalling the app on the desktop although issue persists.

Could you please provide some solution?

What Operating system are you using?

For now, I will share some information that I hope is of some help to you. At the moment I am on a Windows computer.

Navigate to the following path:

  1. Open your Explorer or use shortcut Windows logo key + E

  2. Copy and paste the following in the Windows explorer to go directly to Asana install location
    C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Asana

This is the directory Asana is located. The screenshot below is showing circled in red

Which are different versions of Asana. Do you see something similar?

While you have this folder open give removing (uninstalling) Asana again and pay attention to the folder if there are any leftover files that remain. Go back one up one folder path so go to
C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\Local\

Look for the “Asana” folder and delete it.
Try re-installing Asana again and see if the issue still persists.
