Asana desktop app and calendar view

Hi asana team.

I love this app so much.

But it drives me crazy that the app is not the same as the desktop!

I understand that it’s not meant to be the same, but i just can’t visualise anything the same on my ipad or phone and dont want to have to go to my pc to view everything such as the calendar view.

You can view in desktop but there is no way to permanently view in desktop without clicking “view desktop option” every time.

Also in the calendar view, it would be good if recurring tasks such as say “every Sunday” would come up on every Sunday, instead of only coming up once the previous task on Sunday, was completed.

Lastly when in Calendar view, i wish there was a way to select multiple tasks and click and drag them into another day instead of one by one. Or delete a task with a shortcut click instead of having to open it and then clicking “tab-backspace”

Integration with Google assistant would also make my life easier and some additional widgets for android too for quicker shortcut’s.

Google Assistant integration?

+1 for this idea. Google Assistant lets deveopers create their own assistants really easily. A user can then just ask “let me talk to Asana”, and Asana would start talking, dialogue-style. Much better when you’re out driving. It would feel like having a secretary with access to your projects on the phone.

Visibility of all Recurring tasks

I question came up today, I didn’t know how to answer. We created a weekly recurring task, but couldn’t see all of the tasks in the calendar only the next week. Is there a way to view all of the recurring task as you would if you created a recurring calendar event. Also how do you make sub-task appear in the calendar? Thanks Phil.

Pitch for a more fully-functional iPad Pro app

I find myself using my iPad Pro more and more, especially with apple pen and keyboard. With iOS 11 and true mult-tasking and more multi-touch features on the way this fall, I’d like to make a pitch for a more fully-featured iPad app. While some of these features don’t make sense for an iPhone, I think with a larger display they would be really nice. Select Multiple Tasks While in The Calendar View

Hi, I’ve been enjoying using Asana for the last few months, however the lack of ability to select multiple tasks whilst in calendar view is becoming a bit of a dealbreaker. I am aware that you can select multiple tasks while in a list (or search) however this is not very helpful for when trying to allocate tasks for a week ahead. I would also like the ability in calendar views to drag and drop tasks or sort them by assigned team member.

BETTER Mobile widget

The widget is very simplistic and hardly of any use. I would like to see some customisations . I would especially like to see some distinction between tasks over due , tasks due today and tasks due later. I would also like to have a calendar type of widget , this way i can see tasks and when they are due.

I would also encourage you to create a new thread for each of the topics that are not covered in any of the mentioned threads.
