Android Issue - Magic Link Expired

I have been using the desktop application of Asana successfully for weeks. Recently I purchased a new android phone and android tablet (both 5G), and for the life of me I cannot log into Asana with either of them. Uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times as recommended by tech support (after getting past the automated robot response)

What is happening is that when I go to log in, it gives the choice (the only choice) to send a magic link to my email. Each and every time I click on the link in the email, Asana gives an error claiming that the link is expired.

My mobile use is basically dead in the water.

Galaxy S21 5G, and Galaxy S7 5G, both with up to date android system updates.

Daniel, I’m on Android via a new Samsung phone as well and having the same problem. The magic link feature leads only to a “magic link not working” message when I try to log in from the magic link email sent to Outlook on my phone. Asana experts, what can we do to use Asana on our phones? Is there a way around using the magic link feature to log in?

Hi @Daniel_Cygrymus and @anon397549, welcome to the Asana Community Forum and sorry for the trouble here! I recommend you to try uninstalling and reinstalling the Asana app and if the issue persists, could you forward this issue to our support team? they will be able to have a closer look at this issue and solve it asap.

Emily, I have already been in communication with the support team. They are not certain why this is happening. It is 2 separate android devices (in addition to the other user above). It is a pretty major issue if Asana is not working on brand new androids.

Thanks Emily! After I deleted and re-downloaded the app, it offered me the option to type in my password. Previously, I could only do the magic link. All systems go! Thanks for your help.
