Hi there! We have been using Asana for some time, and are hoping to level up our knowledge on reporting within the platform. Mostly metrics around staff performance, and leveraging time stamps on projects, tasks, etc.

Examples of things we’d like to be able to accomplish

  • Sort projects by last interacted date (to see stale tasks)
  • Sort a project by Tag (it seems able to sort by column on most data points, but not Tag!)
  • Cleanly export data without bringing all the project’s possible context with it (filter then export)

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I believe 1 and 2 are not possible natively in Asana. For 3. you indeed can’t choose what to export, but that seems normal to me as this is a technical export with everything possible, and then you are filtering in whatever system you import the data.
