Allow editing restrictions for certain users for customized fields

Instead of only allowing “Only I can edit this field’s settings”, there should be an option for an admin to appoint an individual, or more than one individual to edit a field’s settings.

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us, @Justin_Poma! We don’t have immediate plans to implement this feature but I’ll let you know if you have plans to launch this in the future!

We have introduced Asana in our multinational. Each entity is quite independant and have their own project managers.
We are trying to establish a PMO department on HQ level and as such guide our different entitities and project managers in doing project management on a similar way.
We now notice that each project manager wants to use Asana his/her way and as such start modifying the field contents, adds fields that are already in Asana, but just with another name, …
It would be good that e.g. one of the profile fields who be “can edit user fields”.

The way I have done it now, is to indicate that I am the only person who can maintain the fields that I have created. As such I become the bottleneck in the PMO team
