Add variable for latest comment so that can be used in rules

I would like to create a rule that uses the gmail integration to forward the latest comment to the email address in a custom field. I have everything set, except that I do not see how to pull in the latest comment in the “add variable” dropdown menus. This seems like obviously useful functionality, so I’m wondering if I’m approaching this incorrectly.

Thank you, Larry - Flowsana unfortunately doesn’t have a trigger for “new comment added,” so I can’t solve that way. Will upvote the topic.
