Add My Tasks and its sections to Advanced Search criteria

It’s really important to be able to search for tasks in My Tasks, just like you can search for tasks in Projects, and optionally in one or more sections of My Tasks.

I really hope this is a fast follow of My Tasks v2.

@lpb thanks for adding it. This is pretty essential to my workflow. I work on many projects and before recent updates I had a custom report doing exactly that which isn’t working right now.

Alternatively, in My Tasks view there’s the Sort dropdown allowing to sort within sections:

While it works for all the options it doesn’t work for Projects. There was something similar to this in Later section before the update.

Before latest changes after expanding Later section the tasks were grouped by Project.

Ah, I see; thanks. In my usage, I’ve never had a need to open the Later section in nearly 10 years of use!!

Exactly :slight_smile: The ability to serach in Mytasks and within its section is crucial, not only because the never opened Later section :slight_smile:

Hi folks!
I’ve been using Asana for more than 6 years, so after the MyTasks V2 rollout, I’ve noticed that I have thousands of incomplete/complete tasks to be sorted.
I wanted to sort out tasks from the old sections (Completed tasks in recently assigned, Today, Upcoming and Later) to new sections and use for that advanced search (because of thousands of tasks). But there isn’t an option in advanced search, to search in MyTasks or its sections. It’s a pity because new MyTasks are almost identical to any other projects, so a search within the sections would be very helpful.
